Betty’s Tipi Wedding Photography

Betty’s Tipi at Inglenook Farm is a great new wedding venue for North West Couples to get married. Set on Inglenook farm,  If you are looking for an outdoor tipi wedding to tie the knot, look no further than Betty’s Tipi at Inglenook farm! I love photographing Outdoor weddings in the summertime, they really have a great rustic, festival vibe. Inglenook farm is best known for it’s stunning Lavender fields. During May -July the beautiful aroma of Lavender fills the countryside. Betty’s tipis are found down a path leading past the Lavender to a secluded 2-acre field on the farm grounds. Being a Lancashire wedding photographer I get to shoot at lots of amazing wedding venues like Betty’s Tipis at Inglenook Farm!

I joined the bride for her bridal preparations with the mother of the bride and her bridesmaid at Macdonald Kilhey Court hotel. After the girls had applied their make-up and done their hair The bride was helped into her weeing dress by the bridesmaid. It was really sweet to photograph the father of the bride’s first look at the bride in her dress, it’s always a very emotional moment. Soon it was time for the bride to collect her bouquet and jump into her beautiful Rolls Royce wedding car to head to Inglenook farm to her waiting groom!

Wedding Ceremony at Inglenook Farm

The groom was meeting and greeting his wedding guests at Betty’s Tipi at Inglenook farm as I arrived to photograph the ceremony. He was having lots of fun with his many groomsmen and best man as he waited for this bride to arrive for the wedding ceremony. The bride and groom’s beloved Golden Retriever had the special job of carrying the wedding rings up the aisle! He did a great job! All eyes were on the bride as she arrived at the ceremony with her bridesmaid and the father of the bride. With their dog leading the way, The bride looked amazing as she walked toward her groom in hushed silence.

The ceremony is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day to photograph especially the exchange of rings which is always a very emotionally charged moment to photograph. After the exchange of vows and rings, friends and family erupted into applause and well wishes as they walked back down the aisle to a confetti throw and a waiting glass of bubbly for the happy couple!

Drinks reception

It was, unfortunately, raining at the drinks reception, but Betty’s Tipi’s are huge and kept the wedding party nice and dry. The family group photographs were fun to photograph as the rain went on and off! There were lots of big hugs for the bride and groom from all of the guests as people enjoyed a drink and a catch-up with the newlyweds!

After photographing the family formals we made sure we captured some ace couple portraits of the happy couple. In between the rain we managed to get some stunning shots of the bride and groom walking in the famous Lavender fields of Inglenook farm!

Many speeches at the wedding breakfast

The bride and groom were welcomed into the wedding breakfast to much applause. The speeches were a little unusual in the fact that there were three 3 best men spilling the beans on the groom’s past adventures! After sterling speeches by the father of the bride and the groom, it was down to the three best men to raise the roof and they did not disappoint. If at all possible each best man improved on the previous speech which were individually and collectively hilarious. The bride and groom were almost in tears as the sordid details of the groom’s many adventures were brought to light. Love, love, love capturing the wedding guests and their reactions during the wedding speeches!

Pizzas, Toasted Marshmallows, The first dance, and conga lines

After some amazing pizza and toasted marshmallows to keep the wedding guests going into the evening celebrations, the newly weds loved to dance so the evening First dance came quite early. Sara & Tom had rehearsed a routine and they looked great as I photographed them having a great time on the dancefloor. To massive applause Tom picked up his bride for a final swirl as the wedding guests joined the happy couple for a good old boogie on the dancefloor. The dancefloor didn’t empty out all evening which is a rare thing indeed. I finally managed to completely fill up my memory cards on my cameras which is a first for me at a wedding!
