What a fantastic day photographing Claire & Andy’s Hope Street Hotel wedding. I love being a Liverpool wedding photographer!
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT HOPE STREET HOTEL
One of Liverpool’s coolest hotels, part of the building was originally home to a Coach and Carriage builders named the London Carriage Works. It was built in 1866 in the style of the Venetian palazzo. With stylish rooms like the Fifth and the old book room, it is a top Liverpool venue to get married and to be a Hope street hotel wedding Photographer. I love it that I use a camera for a living. Need some advice on How to Choose a Wedding Venue?
Set in the historic Georgian quarter facing the iconic Liverpool Philharmonic, Hope Street hotel is one of Liverpool’s most stylish wedding venues. Its great photographing in Hope Street hotel, the modern look and huge windows make capturing photographs from unusual angles loads of fun. CHURCH WEDDING CEREMONY
Claire was home for her bridal preparations with her bridesmaids and flower girls. Weddings are so lovely with Flower girls; they fill the wedding with fun and laughter as they play in their dresses and with their flowers. There was a great moment when Claire walked down the stairs in her wedding dress for the first time.
It was off to St Joseph’s church for the wedding ceremony, the Liverpool groom and his best man and ushers were having a great laugh and welcoming the wedding guests. I think a church wedding can add a lot more drama to the ceremony. St Josephs is a well-lit church, which makes a fantastic backdrop for the wedding photographs. Some funny moments at the exchange of rings and a few tears (always!) during the wedding vows. Great readings and after the signing of the register the newlyweds walked back down the aisle for the first time as husband and wife to lots of cheers!
After loads of hugs and well wishes from friends and family, we shot some quick and fun family groups. After the confetti throw the bride and groom travelled in style in a modern convertible Rolls Royce wedding car to the fab Hope street hotel wedding venue for their wedding reception.
PHOTOGRAPHING THE RECEPTION AT HOPE STREET
Lots of great moments captured of everybody having champagne and Canapés at the drinks reception in the resident’s lounge back at Hope Street Hotel. My style of photography is perfect to capture lots of funny moments as the guests relax without worrying about the photographer. Hope Street
There were massive cheers as the bride and groom walked into the Fifth room for the wedding breakfast. After a great meal (Hope street has won awards for its food) it was time to photograph some cracking speeches from the father of the bride, the groom, and the man with the toughest job – the best man.
After the speeches, we ventured out onto the balcony for some relaxed couple portraits. It was not long before the evening party kicked off with the cake cutting and the first dance. Claire also had a dance with her dad before the bridesmaids joined her on the dance floor to boogie the night away. It was so much fun to photograph the action on the dance floor.
Huge congratulations to Claire & Andy, it was fantastic to share your day with you and capture loads of great memories!
