Spring Wedding at The Venue Royal Liver
It was an amazing day being the photographer for Bethannie & Owens’s spring wedding at The Venue Royal Liver. It really is one of my favourite wedding venues in Liverpool and I always have an amazing day shooting there. The staff are always fabulous! One of the many reasons why I love being The Venue Royal Liver Building Wedding Photographer!
Bethanie & Owen decided to have a spring wedding which was a perfect choice for many reasons.
Did you know that it is very symbolic to have a spring wedding? Spring means new beginnings, sunnier and warmer days, and rebirth. What better way to celebrate your new beginning as a married couple? A great reason to have a spring wedding at the Venue Royal Liver!
Bridal Preparations
The bride had her bridal preparations just over the road at 30 James street. Surrounded by her flower girls, the mother of the bride, and her bridesmaids, the bride was having a great start to her special day. I managed to photograph the groom’s preparations as he was getting ready with his groomsmen at the Venue Royal Liver. Looking very smart indeed in his tweed suit and tie. The bride soon had her wedding dress on and it really was ace photographing the bridesmaid’s first look at the dress. Lots of happy tears!
Spring is a Great Time to Get Married!
Spring is such a great time to get married for many reasons; The weather is not too hot or cold and nature is in full bloom. The sun sets at 9 pm just before the first dance so if there is a sunset it’s easy to get some stunning sunset shots. The Venue Royal liver has a private balcony so it’s a doddle to just step outside and enjoy the sunset!
Greater choice of wedding vendors
Having a spring wedding can help you find the perfect vendor as April is still considered off-peak. So, if you find a vendor you love after booking the Venue Royal Liver you have more chance of booking them compared to summer.
Spring Wedding ceremony
The atmosphere was amazing as the groom chatted with his Best Man as he waited for his bride to arrive in the Bella Ballroom. I managed to catch the bride arriving in her wedding car with the father of the groom. Then it was a case of running back to the wedding ceremony to photograph her coming down the aisle!
Some funny antics from the flower girls as they walked up the aisle, had the wedding guests laughing right before the bride made her dramatic entrance. Love the Ceremony room at Venue Royal Liver as it’s so bright with massive windows behind the registrar. It really makes for perfect wedding ceremony photographs!
One of the many reasons Why I love The Venue Royal Liver!
Bride & Groom Get a Little Help during Exchange of vows
It was a very special exchange of vows, the bride & groom’s daughter decided to join them and held hands with mummy and daddy as the happy couple said their vows. So cute! After signing the register and walking down the aisle it was time for the happy couple to have a glass of bubbly and get a few hugs from the guests at the drinks reception.
Spring is the Perfect Season for pastel Colours
Spring is the perfect time to have a pastel colour scheme for your wedding and Betthannie had done just that. The bright soft colours of the flowers in the wedding ceremony and breakfast room looked just right and the bridesmaids had stunning pastel dresses. Pastel colour schemes really are very romantic!
Wedding Guests are in Good Spirits at a Spring Wedding
Having a spring wedding probably makes you the first wedding of the year. Your guests will be really looking forward to your wedding, so the atmosphere will be amazing. Wedding guests are in great spirits as they come out of the winter blues and are appreciating that the days are getting brighter and warmer, this certainly lifts everybody’s mood!
Great Speeches
Some hilarious speeches from the Best man and father of the bride before we kicked into the evening reception with the cake cutting. The first dance was very romantic as the newlyweds gazed into each other’s eyes. The wedding guests joined the happy couple as the DJ did his thing and had the guests rocking on the dancefloor!
