Amanda & Leon’s Wedding at The Venue Royal Liver Building
It was an amazing day being Amanda & Leon’s The Venue Royal Liver Building Wedding Photographer. I have photographed quite a few weddings at The Venue and I always love to come back to one of the top wedding venues in Liverpool. It’s such a buzz being a Liverpool wedding photographer when you get to share a couple’s special day at such an amazing wedding venue. Have a look at another wedding where I was The Venue Royal Liver Building Wedding Photographer.
Being a Liverpool Wedding Photographer, I love any opportunity to shoot at this amazing venue, so get in touch if you are thinking about tying the knot here. If you are looking to get married at the Venue you can request their brochure here.
Amanda had lots of bridesmaids and flower girls to help her with her bridal preparations at 42 castle street apartments. It was such a thrill capturing some very special moments between the bride and her daughter. Leon was getting ready with his best man and groomsmen just two floors up! It was easy to just run up the stairs as the boys got ready for the big day. After the bride had put on her dress and picked up her wedding bouquet it was literally a stone throw to the Town Hall, which was just as well as there was a little rain!
Wedding Ceremony at Liverpool Town Hall
Leon and his groomsmen were meeting and greeting the wedding guests at the Town hall when I arrived to photograph the ceremony. The sun was shining through the massive windows creating loads of possibilities for great photographs. It was literally a stone throw away from 42 Castle Street to the town hall which was lucky as it was raining a little as the bride arrived for the wedding ceremony!
There was a great atmosphere as the ceremony room waited for Amanda to enter the room. The groom took a few deep breaths as the massive doors opened for the bride to walk up the aisle. As the bride arrived at the registrar table the groom was greeted with a massive smile!
Some lovely moments during an emotional ceremony. It’s always amazing to watch and photograph the reaction of the room as the happy couple say their vows and exchange wedding rings. After signing the register with the help of the witnesses it was time for the newlyweds to walk back down the aisle. They looked very happy indeed, bathing in the glow of the heartfelt applause from the guests.
Relaxed portraits around the Liver Building
A quick walk to Exchange Flags for the confetti throw and the sun was shining away. Perfect. Amanda was keen to take some portraits around the Three Graces and waterfront. Hopping into the stunning Rolls Royce wedding car we were there in no time. The Pier Head waterfront has loads of opportunities for unusual and powerful portraits and you could see how happy the bride and groom were together. It was so easy to capture great couple portraits of the two of them together. It really was brilliant to be a part of their wedding. I really love being a Liverpool wedding photographer.
The venue Royal Liver Building Wedding Reception
The sun was still shining as the happy couple were welcomed into the wedding breakfast at The Venue, the roars and cheering for the newlyweds were almost deafening as they entered the room. Amazing speeches by the groom and best man, and it was also great to see the bride and the chief bridesmaid give a speech too! It wasn’t too long before the newlyweds were cutting the cake and getting ready for the first dance. It was nice to see all of the guests joining the bride and groom on the dance floor to end a fabulous wedding day in one of my favourite wedding venues in Liverpool.
It was such an honour to be the Venue Royal Liver building wedding photographer for such a perfectly matched couple. Looking forward to returning to the Venue for my next wedding!
