Intimate wedding photography at Wallasey Town Hall
What an amazing day as Emily & Dan’s Wedding photographer at their very intimate wedding at Wallasey town Hall. I love shooting really small weddings, and this wedding was as intimate as it gets, with just the bride and groom their little girl and two best friends as witnesses. It really was one of those weddings which left me with a lovely happy feeling as I drove home later that day.
Bridal preparations in new Brighton
The bride was having her bridal preparations with the groom and their witnesses in a gorgeous Georgian house in New Brighton. The happy couple and their witnesses were still in their PJ’s when I arrived to photograph the morning preparations. It was ace capturing loads of fun shots of everybody playing with the happy couple’s beautiful little girl. After thee flowers arrived and the bride put on her wedding dress it was time to drive to Wallasey Town Hall in the wedding car for the ceremony.
Wedding Ceremony at Wallasey Town Hall
It was a beautiful thing to watch and photograph such an intimate and very personal wedding ceremony. You could see how much in love Emily & Dan are and the atmosphere was amazing throughout the ceremony. You could really feel the love as the happy couple exchanged rings and their vows! What an honour to capture photographs that will bring back those special moments for the newlyweds. After signing the register and receiving the Marriage certificate, it was time to walk back down the aisle as husband & wife!!
A very alternative wedding breakfast
A short stroll along the Mersey waterfront and the plan was to get a simple meal at the Ferry pub. On arriving we were told the chef had gone home!! The newlyweds were totally unphased and Plan B was a packet of crisp and a slice of cake!! Luckily there were a few scrummy cakes on offer which were really delicious!!
I always feel loved up after a wedding, but very small intimate weddings give me the chance to really get to know my lovey couples a bit more and Emily & Dan’s wedding was no exception. It was lovely to sit with them in the pub and it felt like a kids party having crisps and cake! Another thing I love about small weddings is being able to really explore and capture the relationships between the couple and their guests. I hope the photographs will bring back some ace memories for the happy couple as the years go by.
I really loved being the wedding photographer for Emily & Dan’s intimate wedding at Wallasey town Hall. Below are some of my favourite photographs from Emily & Dan’s special day. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed photographing them!!
