DoubleTree Hilton Chester Wedding Photography | Ashley & Phil

It had been two years since Ashley & Phil had asked me to be the photographer at their DoubleTree Hilton Chester wedding. A lot can happen in two years and Ashley & Phil now had two beautiful twins, a boy (Georgie)and girl (Annie) to help them celebrate their wedding at DoubleTree Chester!

18^th century manor House. wedding venue

The DoubleTree Hilton is a surrounded by  12 acres of landscaped gardens and is a beautiful restored 18th Century Manor house. It is situated just on the outskirts of historic Chester. They have done an amazing job blending the historic house with more modern features. It also has a stunning Grade II listed conservatory. With the beautiful grounds, the DoubleTree Hilton Chester makes a stunning wedding venue.

I caught up with Ashley and her bridesmaids in one of the very cool bedrooms to shoot her wedding preparations.  Phil was also getting ready at the venue with his groomsmen and best man, so I was able to photograph the two parties.

It was great to see both parties in high spirits and the boys were literally high on spirits! (the finest single malt whisky).

Beautiful restored barn Wedding Ceremony room

The ceremony was held in the restored barn which has kept the original beams, and Phil was waiting with little Georgie for his bride to walk up the aisle.  The barn was decorated with zillions of floating candles creating a great atmosphere for the wedding ceremony.

Grade II listed conservatory

After a very emotional ceremony, it was off to the conservatory for canapés and drinks for the guests. I normally give the couple at least half an hour before we quickly shoot the family group shots. My whole philosophy is to photograph the day naturally capturing real moments that will have lasting emotional impact, only intervening to shoot the groups and quickly shoot a relaxed portrait shoot. Another amazing day as a Cheshire Wedding Photographer!

It was my first time photographing at the DoubleTree Hilton wedding venue and I was really impressed with the venue and the staff were great too. I loved shooting Ashley & Phil’s wedding and it was great to spend the day with you two. All the best for the future.
