Wedding Photography at Hard Days Night

It was ace being the wedding photographer at Kate & Jordan’s wedding at Hard days night. From bridal preparations until the first dance I had loads of opportunities to photograph lots of amazing moments of Kate & Jordan’s wedding at Hard Days Night. With so many fabulous wedding venues its ace to be a Liverpool Wedding Photographer.

Love the Beatles and getting married? The Hard Days Night wedding venue should be on your shortlist. Adjacent to Matthew Street, in the ‘Beatles Quarter’ Hard Days Night is housed in Central buildings, a Grade II listed building built in 1884. The only Beatles themed wedding venue in the world, tying the knot with artworks of the fab four all-around must be the perfect wedding day at Hard Days Night for any Beatles fan.

Bridal Preparations at Hard days night

Photographing Kate & Jordan’s wedding at Hard days night began with Kate’s bridal preparations in one of the luxurious suites. Kate was enjoying her bridal preparations surrounded by her bridesmaids, and 2 very cute flower girls. I usually arrive with my cameras 2-3 hours before the wedding ceremony to shoot the bridal preparations as this gives me plenty of time to capture natural shots of the bride getting ready for her big day. With plenty of bubbly to hand the girls were having a great time getting their hair done and having their make-up applied.

The girls presented the bride with lots of very meaningful wedding presents and I was proud to capture some very emotional shots of Kate shedding lots of happy tears! It really is all about the people at a wedding. It was obvious Kate had such a special relationship with her bridesmaids (two were sisters) and I wanted to get the wedding photography at Hard days Night perfect for such a special bride & Groom. When Kate showed off her wedding dress to the room, there were real cries of emotion from everybody present. After a big hug from her son, Katy was ready to get her flowers and walk to the ‘Two of Us’ suite where her excited groom would be waiting for his bride.

‘Two of Us’ Wedding ceremony

Jordan, the groom was waiting with his best man at the end of the aisle, and the atmosphere in the ceremony room was electric. This was just after the Covid restrictions were lifted so the wedding guests were ready to let it all hang out! As the wedding photographer, it was my job to get in position to photograph the bridesmaids and flower girls walking up the aisle. Next, it was the bride’s turn to walk up the aisle with her brother and I captured a big kiss from the groom as Kate arrived at the end of the aisle. The wedding ceremony was so beautiful and full of joy, it was a real honour to capture some very emotional moments during the exchange of rings. After signing the register, it was time for the happy couple to walk back down the aisle to lots of cheers from their adoring family and friends. After many hugs and kisses during the drinks reception the happy couple got a chance to unwind and spend some time with their loved ones.

Bride and Groom wedding photos

My style as a wedding photographer is 99% natural and non-directional. When it’s time to photograph just the two of you, I make sure that you are both comfortable and it’s about the couple sharing moments together away from the party. With minimum direction, I make sure you guys look amazing but most importantly you are enjoying yourselves and not feeling awkward or uncomfortable. Kate & Jordan looked so happy as we captured some amazing images of a couple really having a great time together.

Wedding Speeches in ’The Two of Us’.

Kate’s brother started the speeches with a heartfelt and well received speech. Next up was the Best man who had a few embarrassing stories to tell of his adventures with the groom. The groom was up next and after giving some back to the best man, let the bride know how special she was, which had most of the ladies in tears. Bless! The wedding day moves so fast and Kate & Jordan’s wedding at Hard Night was no exception. Before we knew it, the cake had been cut and it was time to have the first Dance.

I really love being a Hard Days Night Wedding photographer and it makes it even more special sharing the day with such a special couple and their amazing family and friends. The whole wedding party really made me feel a part of the wedding and it was an amazing experience to get out shooting weddings after the lockdowns. If you are a big Beatles fan and are thinking of getting married at Hard Days Night, I would love to hear from you.
