Walton Hall Warrington Wedding Photographer | Lynn & Jonathan

What a fantastic day being the Cheshire Wedding Photographer for Lynn & Jonathan’s Walton hall Warrington wedding.

HISTORIC WALTON HALL

One of Cheshire’s most impressive wedding venues, Walton hall Warrington is a grade II listed building. It was built in 1838 for Sir Gilbert Greenall. The hall has stunning views of the surrounding Walton estate & award wining gardens. What a brilliant venue to have a wedding and be a Walton hall Warrington wedding photographer.

It was a real pleasure to photograph at Walton hall. The stunning staircase overlooked by a beautiful stained glass window, gives loads of opportunities for great camera angles and fantastic light to make amazing photographs. The bride and her bridesmaids had their bridal preparations in a local hotel. Mum was busy organising the boutonnières and the flowers looked ace! After putting on her wedding dress, Lynn and her bridesmaids were whisked to Walton hall in their vintage wedding car. This was turning into a most exciting wedding day! I love it that I take photographs for a living!

WEDDING CEREMONY AT WALTON HALL

The groom was waiting for his bride with his best man and ushers in the lovely gardens for an outside wedding ceremony. After chatting to the registrar the bride walked up the aisle with her father. What a beautiful ceremony with a very emotional exchange of vows and after signing the register the bride and groom were surprised by some confetti as they walked back down the aisle! It was then back to the grand house for canapés and a drinks reception. We shot some family formal photographs and we also captured some great images of the bride and groom on their couple shoot inside the magnificent house. The staircase is amazing for being creative with a camera. I use prime lenses, which make the backgrounds very blurred, perfect for portrait photography.

PHOTOGRAPHING THE SPEECHES

After the bride and groom were announced into the wedding breakfast, we had some amazing speeches by the father of the bride, the groom and the best man. It was great to see the bride breaking a wedding tradition who gave a speech of her own. After cutting the cake the bride changed into a specially wedding customised pair of Converse for their first dance!

Below are some of my favourite photographs from Lynn & Jonathan’s Walton hall Warrington wedding.

If you are getting married at Walton hall Warrington or anywhere in the North West I would love to hear from you to discuss your wedding photography.
