Formby Hall Wedding Photographer – Clair & Phil

It really was special to be Clair & Phil’s Formby Hall wedding photographer this spring. It was ace to return to Formby Hall to photograph Clair & Phil’s spring wedding. The spring flowers were in bloom and I was excited to be back at such a great wedding venue. With my camera ready I was able to photograph all of the amazing moments that happened throughout a fabulous wedding day.

Wedding Photography at Formby Hall

The bride was enjoying the bridal preparations with her bridesmaids and flower girls as I arrived with my cameras at Formby Hall. I also had time to pop over to the groom’s room where he was getting ready with his best man and ushers. After the bride was helped into her stunning dress there was an ace moment when the father of the bride saw her in her dress for the first time. Even though as a wedding photographer I get to see this scene on a regular basis it’s always a special thing to witness and capture. With flowers in hand, it was soon time for the bride to head to the Ambassador suite. Love, Love, Love being a Liverpool Wedding Photographer with such amazing wedding venues like Formby Hall.

Wedding Ceremony in the Ambassador Suite

The wedding ceremony was in the Ambassador suite and was packed with very excited wedding guests when I arrived. The groom was looking a little nervous with his best man cracking jokes in an effort to ease his nerves! It is so easy to capture great photographs in the Ambassador suite, as the light is so perfect. The room fell silent and all eyes were on the bride as she walked up the aisle with to meet her groom. With lots of tears from the mother of the bride and groom, it really was a pleasure to capture the exchange of rings. After signing the register, the newlyweds looked like they were floating as they walked back down the aisle!

Photographing the Drinks Reception

It was down to the main reception for the drinks reception and we quickly photographed the family group shots as the guests enjoyed their drinks. The daffodils were blooming on the grounds as we had lots of fun photographing the relaxed portraits.

The newlyweds were welcomed into the wedding breakfast to massive applause and it was soon time for the speeches. After a delicious wedding breakfast and some fantastic speeches, the happy couple cut the cake just before the first dance. Clair danced with her father before she was joined by the groom for the first dance. With the whole room joining them on the dance floor it was the perfect ending g to a fabulous Formby Hall wedding.

Formby Hall is a perfect wedding Venue.

With two fabulous contemporary function suites your wedding is well taken care of. The Ambassador suite can hold 250 guests and is surrounded by glass for perfect light during the ceremony and there is a wrap-around balcony to view the world-class golf course. The Diplomat suite can cater for 160 guests and also boasts a separate private bar and balcony access.
