I really loved being Charlotte & Tom’s Fordhall Organic farm wedding photographer this summer. It was my first visit to the amazing Fordhall Organic farm wedding venue for Charlotte & Tom’s fabulous outdoor wedding. Fordhall Farm is the perfect venue if you love the outdoors. Set on a hill surrounded by amazing views of the valley and dense woodlands Fordhall farm really does wow you. Camera in hand, it was such a pleasure and a privilege to photograph all of the fantastic moments throughout a perfect wedding day.

The bride had her bridal preparations in the bridal suite building with her bridesmaids and little flower girl. It was soon time for Charlotte to put on her stunning dress. There was a lovely moment when the father of the bride saw his daughter in her dress for the first time. I love catching stuff like this. It is moments like this that my clients will treasure as time passes. It was soon time for the bride to grab her flower bouquet and to be whisked to the church in her wedding car.

Church Ceremony at Cheswardine Church St Swithun

The groom was greeting his guests with his best man and ushers inside the packed church as I arrived and the sun was shining. Just perfect for a special wedding day. The bellringers were going full tilt as the bride arrived at the church, and as she walked up the aisle all eyes were on the bride.  Cheswardine Church St Swithun is full of stunning natural light to have a perfect wedding ceremony.

After the exchange of rings, the happy couple signed the register with the help of the witnesses. The newlyweds looked very happy indeed as they walked back down the aisle together to be greeted by a beautiful sunny day. After lots of hugs and congratulations by friends and family, the ushers passed around the confetti for the confetti shot.

Fordhall Organic Farm Drinks Reception

It was back to Fordhall Organic farm for the drinks reception and the happy couple were well stocked with an extensive collection of shots on hand to get the guests in the mood. After shooting the family groups we wandered across the field to photograph some relaxed couple portraits as the newlyweds had fun with a little time to themselves. It was a clash of the Titans with the Chief bridesmaid and best man in a head to head at the beer pong table. It was a close call but the best man won. There then followed an epic battle of beer pong between the tribes of the bride and groom. (girls vs boys). After a hilarious match, the girls rode to victory with just two beer glasses in it.

We had such an amazing sunset we popped back out to photograph more relaxed portraits and we were treated to the most amazing red-tinged cloudscape sky! After the cutting of the cake the very talented duo Nibbs & Tony sang the first dance and it wasn’t long before everybody joined the newlyweds on the dance floor!

Here are some of my favourite images from Charlotte & Tom’s Fordhall Organic Farm wedding.
